We use personal data to create and protect accounts, publish and moderate listings, connect buyers with sellers, verify dealers, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, maintain service reliability, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
3. Information shown publicly
Vehicle listings and approved dealer profiles are public. A listing may display the seller name or dealership name, vehicle location, photos, description, and other details submitted for publication. Do not place government identification numbers, home addresses, banking details, or other sensitive information in public listing text or photos.
4. Sharing and service providers
We may share data with infrastructure, email, storage, security, analytics, and support providers only as needed to operate KotseMoto. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, investigate abuse, or respond to valid government requests. Buyers and sellers receive information that you intentionally submit through marketplace enquiries.
5. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including account administration, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance. We use access controls, password hashing, secure cookies, rate limits, upload validation, and administrative audit records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other action concerning your personal data, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. You can remove saved items, archive your listings, and sign out through your account. To make a privacy request, use our contact form and select Account help.
7. Cookies
KotseMoto uses essential session cookies to keep signed-in users authenticated and protect account activity. We may add optional analytics or preference cookies later; if required, we will provide appropriate notice and controls before using them.
8. Children
KotseMoto is intended for people who can legally enter a vehicle transaction. The service is not directed to children, and children should not create seller or dealer accounts.
