1. Marketplace role
KotseMoto is a classifieds platform that helps vehicle buyers, individual sellers, and dealers find and contact one another in the Philippines. Unless expressly stated, KotseMoto is not the buyer, seller, dealer, broker, lender, insurer, inspector, or payment processor in a transaction. Users are responsible for their negotiations, inspections, documents, payments, transfers, and compliance with law.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your password, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Dealer accounts must represent a legitimate dealership and may be asked for verification information. KotseMoto may limit or suspend accounts used for fraud, impersonation, spam, abuse, or repeated policy violations.
3. Listings
You may list only vehicles you are authorized to sell. Each account may have up to 5 active listings, with up to 10 photos per listing. Listings expire 30 days after publication. Listing descriptions, prices, mileage, condition, ownership information, location, and photos must be accurate and current. Duplicate, misleading, unavailable, stolen, prohibited, abusive, obscene, or fraudulent listings are not allowed.
4. Transactions and safety
Verify the vehicle, seller identity, registration documents, encumbrances, and payment arrangements independently. Inspect and test drive safely, meet in an appropriate location, and use traceable transaction records. Never send money solely because a listing or dealer profile appears on KotseMoto. Verification badges reduce uncertainty but are not a guarantee of a vehicle, seller, or transaction.
5. Content license
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant KotseMoto a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the marketplace. You may end this license for future use by deleting the content, subject to backups, legal obligations, and completed moderation records.
6. Moderation
Listings publish without manual approval after automated content and duplicate checks. A listing that fails those checks is rejected. We may later remove, archive, or restrict content and accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, maintain marketplace quality, or comply with law. Users can report published listings for review.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep KotseMoto reliable but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every listing, user statement, price, or vehicle is accurate. To the extent permitted by law, KotseMoto is not liable for indirect losses or disputes arising from user-to-user transactions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the platform changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Questions can be submitted through our contact page.
